NOPD Crime Blast
On March 22nd at or about 7:30 am, the victim was in 700 block of Dublin Street (the rear of the Walgreens). The victim was with a delivery truck driver, taking inventory of the delivery. At that time they were approached by a black male who asked about a job. When the suspect was informed that the store was not hiring he walked away. The black male returned moments later armed with a silver colored handgun. He pointed the gun at both victims and told them to “shut upâ€. At that point, the suspect placed the gun in his pocket and walked away. He was observed entering a gray Nissan Titan truck and driving off. It is unknown if the suspect was angry at the store manager or he was scared off by some unknown reason. The suspect is described as a 25-30 year old black male, 5 feet 9 inches, 175 lbs., light complexion, goatee, wearing a tan and black hoodie.
